Well, I guess I officially blog now...since this is my second post, I apparently am an official blogger. However, don't be fooled. I have no idea what I'm doing. I can't make my posts look the way I want ( I apologize if you are reading this before I figure it out, and you are looking at text the color of boogers), I don't really know what direction this blog will head...but I'm excited to see. It will evolve.
So many things are like that...you know? They evolve. We don't automatically start things out the way they end up. That is what makes things interesting I guess. We cooperate with the process. We allow God to lead and shape the things He's called us to do. We evolve and are shaped through the journey. It's an adventure.
Sometimes the adventure can be unnerving, to say the least. I remember being pregnant with my first child, and experiencing the roller coaster of emotions that come with the territory. I remember sharing with some of the college students I worked with about the roller coaster I was on. One wise student said to me "Well, you know Who holds you securely in the cart, why not just throw your hands up and enjoy the ride?" I love it. Enjoy the ride. Fully experience the process.
What adventure has He allowed to evolve in your life?
And, yes, that is me riding on a roller coaster made for toddlers...aah, the life of a Children's Ministry Director. :)
